China's 2020 National Steel Output Reached One Billion

On January 18, the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed that China's crude steel production reached 1.053 billion tons in 2020.

From a regional perspective, in the first 11 months of 2020, the top 5 provinces in my country's crude steel production are: Hebei Province (22,914,900 tons), Jiangsu Province (110,732,900 tons), Shandong Province (73,123,900 tons), Liaoning Province (69,505,200 tons), Shanxi Province (60,224,700 tons).

In 2020, the national output of pig iron, crude steel and steel (including repetitive materials) will be 88,752, 105,300, and 13,32.89 million tons, respectively, increase 4.3%, 5.2% and 7.7% year-on-year. In 2020, China exported 53.67 million tons of steel, a year-on-year decrease of 16.5%; imported steel was 20.23 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 64.4%; imported iron ore and its concentrates were 1.170.1 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%.
